Ability to create ads for Instagram Stories

About two months ago, the first ads in Instagram Stories began to appear. To date, however, this advertising feature was only available for certain large companies. With the changes made to the Facebook advertising platform a few days ago, any Brand can now "run" this ads in Instagram Stories!

Ads are displayed among the other Stories of the user and the available targeting options are the same as the other types of ad.

To create an advertising campaign for Instagram Stories, just go to Facebook's Ads Manager and choose "Reach" to show your ad to as many users as possible. You set the options as you would for any campaign, then go to "Placements." Here you have the option to choose the ad to appear only in Instagram Stories, which is very positive if you do not care about other ad formats.

As with all Reach campaigns, the billing is based on impressions (Impressions). In particular, an impression for instagram stories is considered every time your ad opens in full screen on the user's device. Just because your ad will cover the entire screen of the user, the ideal display ratio for your ad content is 9:16. Your content may be an image or a video, but it should not be longer than 15 seconds.

You can upload up to six images, creating at the same time six different interlaced ads. If you choose to upload video, it will limit you to one video per ad.
